Paper products are traditional in Germany to celebrate Advent and Christmas. This panorama Advent calendar, published by Stuttgart-based Richard Sellmer Verlag, is 27" x 8.5". They have been making these products since 1946. Advent calendars are a nice and inexpensive gift.

A row of houses with so much to discover! What could be behind all those many windows? With each day in December, this town becomes more lively and colorful. Even the Eisenhower presidential family was photographed with this calendar in the newspapers. This was the first Advent calendar available in the USA in 1946.
