Three Magi, 21cm scale figures by Marolin Manufaktur

These Marolin papier mache figures are hand formed and hand painted by Richard Mahr Gmbh in Steinach, Germany. They are approximately 9.5" and appropriately sized for the 21cm scale. Marolin is the registered trademark papier mache mass from which the figures are made. This three-piece set of Marolin shows the Three Wise Men Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar worshipping Baby Jesus. They bring gifts of gold, incense and myrrh, which stand for the glory and omnipotence of God, but also for the impending passion and death.
